Terms of Service – Forever Jewellers Cork

Forever Jewellers Cork is an online jewellery store based in Cork, serving customers throughout Ireland, led by Maria Gleeson. These Terms of Service outline the conditions relating to jewellery purchases, deposit plans, pricing, delivery, and customer service. Deposit Plan

Forever Jewellers Cork operates the deposit plan. All decisions and records of the company are final. To avail of the deposit plan, a deposit must be paid, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit amount is determined by Forever Jewellers Cork depending on the product.

Weekly payments are then required. All other items on deposit must be paid in full by the date set by Forever Jewellers Cork upon receipt of the initial deposit. Regular payments must be made in order to secure the item(s), and these payments are determined by Forever Jewellers Cork. All payments made after the initial deposit are also non-refundable.

Items cannot be held on deposit indefinitely. If goods are not paid for in full by the date set out by Forever Jewellers Cork, the customer agrees to forfeit all monies paid. Forever Jewellers Cork reserves the right to cancel any deposit without notice or reason and to decline a customer's request to place an item on deposit. In the rare case the item you reserved becomes unavailable, Forever Jewellers Cork will notify the customer at the earliest possible time.

Product Disclaimer

Every reasonable effort has been made to accurately reflect actual colours, however, due to variances between monitors, colours cannot be guaranteed. Occasionally, there may be differences between the product's appearance in the photograph and the actual item. Products shown may not be actual size. If you have any doubts about the colour, size, or any other specification of the goods you wish to order, we recommend you contact us prior to placing an order. Jewellery boxes and packaging of shipped items may differ from images used on this website. We do our best to portray all our products accurately.

Pricing Errors

The price you pay for jewellery at Forever Jewellers Cork, your Cork Jewellers, is the price displayed on the website at the time we receive your order. While we make every effort to ensure all prices are correct, errors sometimes occur. We will verify prices as part of dispatch confirmation. If the correct price is lower than stated, we charge the lower amount. If higher, we will contact you. If you cancel after being informed, you will receive a full refund. Forever Jewellers Cork reserve the right to reject orders due to material pricing errors.

Order Acknowledgment and Acceptance

The steps required to create the Contract between you and us are as follows:

You place an order on the Site by adding selected goods to your Shopping Cart and completing the online checkout process. The display of goods on the Site does not constitute an offer to sell them as described or to sell any goods at all. By completing the checkout process, you are making an offer to buy which incorporates these terms.
When your order is placed, we will email you to acknowledge receipt. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.
We may send you an email if we do not accept your order, typically for the following reasons:
- The goods are not available;
- We cannot obtain authorization for your payment;
- You are not permitted to purchase the goods; or
- There has been an error in pricing or description of the goods.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the item is not available, we will contact you and offer the option to wait until available or cancel.
All prices include VAT at current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information, but we reserve the right to change prices without notice.
We will only accept your order when we send a confirmation/shipment email, forming a binding contract. Any goods not confirmed as dispatched do not form part of that contract. We reserve the right to decline any order without giving a reason.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims or liabilities arising from breaches of these terms or misuse of the website.

Delivery of items ordered

All items are considered delivered once they have been received at the delivery address you provide and confirmed by our courier. Once proof of delivery is provided by the courier, the items are deemed delivered. In the rare event that items are delivered to the wrong address due to a courier error, it is your responsibility to contact the courier directly to locate the items and arrange a new delivery. You agree that Forever Jewellers Cork is not responsible. You also agree to fully indemnify Forever Jewellers Cork for any loss arising from such incidents.

Should there be any delay in delivery, Forever Jewellers Cork shall not be held responsible for any loss or damages incurred. We are not liable for any loss or damage to goods once proof of delivery has been provided by the courier.

We deliver goods to the delivery address you provide, as stated in the Confirmation/Shipping Email. If you are not at the address to accept your order, please provide an alternative delivery address where someone will be available to accept the order on your behalf.

You are responsible for the goods once delivery has taken place, including following any instructions or manuals provided with the goods. Ownership of the goods transfers to you once we have received full payment, including any applicable delivery charges.
